In addition to our ongoing schedule, we have a number of new / redesigned classes for you to explore:
- Wednesday evenings with Krishna: FREEDOM & FLOW, 7:30 pm
A well-balanced mixed level Vinyasa class with elements of Ashtanga, Iyengar and Structural Yoga, with modifications for the beginner, and variations for the advanced. Free time inversion play, backbends, balance and breath work. Some yoga experience preferred, but do not let lack of experience deter you from bring this fun class!
- Wednesday mornings with Mia: CHAIR-ASSISTED YOGA, 10:30 am
Students practice a gentle range of yoga poses seated in a chair, and using the chair for support in standing poses. No need to ever get down onto a yoga mat! Safe for osteoporosis.
- Thursday mornings with EJ: YOGALATES, 8:30 am
Finally, a Thursday morning option! East meets West in this comprehensive practice that merges the ancient wellness benefits of yoga with the sculpting and toning effects of Pilates. Build strength, stamina, flexibility, balance and inner calm with yoga, while toning your deep "core" muscles, and getting a head-to-toe workout with Pilates mat exercises. You'll look and feel fabulous … guaranteed!
- Thursday evenings with Patrice: MINDFUL YOGA, 5 pm
This class is taught at a contemplative pace that encourages exploration, focus, and the building of yoga skills over time. The emphasis is on precise alignment, carefully thought-out sequences, essential breath work, and the key element of mindfulness that allows students to quiet their minds and go within. All levels.
- Saturday mornings with Ileana: FLOW & GROW, 11 am
Take your practice to the next level with a playful, step-by-step approach. Attention to alignment, and modifications, props and assists make this a fun introduction to some of yoga's more challenging postures, arm balances and inversions. Surprise yourself and grow your practice!
