This mini-training is open to yoga teachers from all traditions, and yoga students wishing to deepen their practice and understanding of the wide-ranging ways we can practice yoga, whether for ourselves, or to share with others.

TEACHING CHAIR YOGA
I wish I could count how many students I have met over the years who thought they could not practice yoga because they couldn't get down onto a yoga mat (or up again). But they can do yoga ... because they can practice seated comfortably and safely in a chair.
In this intense mini-training, you will learn to teach foundational chair and chair-assisted yoga poses and fun sequences. The need for instructors who can teach chair yoga is increasing, with hospitals, nursing homes and senior centers seeking to offer the benefits of yoga to those who need a gentle chair-based practice.

TEACHING RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga is a deeply restful, stress-relieving, healing practice. I think of it as the "antidote to civilization" ... the answer to the stressful lives we all live.
This mini-training will provide you with a basic repertoire of Restorative Yoga poses and sequences you can offer to groups and private clients. It will also give you a gentle, calming practice you can use for your own self-care.

Both mini-trainings will be taught by Charlotte Chandler Stone, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, the founder & director of the Stone Center for Yoga & Health. Charlotte is an accredited Continuing Education Provider with the Yoga Alliance (YACEP), and a certified yoga therapist accredited with the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

I look forward to welcoming you and sharing these accessible practices!
